Round 7 : Purdy lands some right hands to the body with no power behind them, Alexander still ripping him with crisp shots, Jim Gray said he talked to Alexander's trainer who told him Alexander hurt his left hand and that's why he's mostly using the right. Purdy with a somewhat spirited attack at the end of the round but Alexander came back and squashed it down real quick.

Barker stops the fight and Alexander wins by TKO.
