I just haven't seen any justification for all of this Matthysse hype. He has no shot to beat Mayweather at this point, it would be boxing lesson. Canelo would get a lesson too, but at least he has the size and strength to maybe negate Mayweather's skill advantage.
Its funny, Canelo’s first big step up people are saying he didn’t look good he is hype, Mattysse close lost to Zab, “Mattysse’s first step up fight give him a break” His fans are getting worse then Floyds, and Pacs.

An old Soto is still on par with the majority of GGG's resume, and this latest KO of Peterson really seals it up to me.

Put it this way...GGG's been expected to dominate the majority of recent competition, whereas Matthysse v Peterson was expected to be far more competitive. Did anyone really expect Ishida to NOT get knocked out? Sure, he arm-punched Kirkland in one round, but Kirkland was coming off a series of back to back fights (if I remember correctly) and is known to be a bit of a hype job himself.
You're not entirely wrong, but Golovkin is clearly the goods, regardless of who he's fought. Footwork, timing, power, chin, the guy's a monster with outstanding technique.

Screw last month. We're want something from after the fight.

Has Garcia tweeted anything? I know after Lucas KOed Dallas Jr he tweet something like "I ain't scared of nobody" or something along those lines. Then he proceeded to having a thumb injury.... or rib.

Matthysse would hurt Rios and Alvarado. Provodnikov is too limited and easy to hit.

Ortiz, Lopez and Maidana are good opponents but you're talking about 147lb fighters, there's no way of telling if Matthysse's power and punch-resistance carries up.

              • P4P who is the most hype? Now thats a better question.

                I’d pick GGG

                      Agree.

There's been plenty of naysayers for a while who think "Mattysse is overhyped/overrated" which is a clear indication he's had his share of vocal supporters for some time now.
