It's not going to be 12 tough rounds imo. Same old formula, for every punch Matthysse lands Pacquiao lands 5 - with power. Kind of glad it's not happening, wouldn't want to see Matthysse get fkd up like Cotto.

People are underrating Pac again because he fought Marquez and two backfoot boxers in Bradley and Mosley.

This, lots of people really thinking Manny is washed up now. This would be the type of fight he would actually be up for. He would go in and be the under dog, I'm sure he would love nothing more than wiping the smirk off a drunk RichardsSchaffer, when he destroys the so called pac 2.0

Think Manny would get that killer instinct again.

He's running out of cherries. Matthysse may well get his shot sooner than later. I mean what might be the excuse? Can't think of any. But it's going to be a boring fight with the usual hit and run tactic, and the desperation of trying to hit a running man. As usual, it will be hyped to high heavens as if it will be as exciting as seeing Tyson fight.

I think people are a bit too hyped on Lucas recent win and Pacquaios recent loss. Lucas beat a fighter who's not that great, and has a very weak chin, and lacks a true attack. Pacquaio faced an ATG, who is a great technical boxer and a good brawler when he needs to be.

They both have a different kind of power. Lucas swings very loaded with his shots (check how far he over-twists when he misses, even flooring himself from the force), where as Pacquaio has a very fast, snapping power, which shocks you, and as Mosley said himself it's unlike anything he's felt before.

Pacquaio is better at everything except probably pure power, and he has always excelled at fighters who want to brawl with him. He won't get caught clean like Peterson, and if he does, I'm betting his chin is still on an elite level despite the KO.

Pacquaio wins an extremely exciting fight, with better speed, footwork and defense.

That happens when you regularly face hall of fame fighters and focus on excitement and attack rather than pure defense. Pacquaio has faced miles better competition than Lucas, so what would you expect?

Lucas is a fighter I love to watch, but do you honestly think when Pac was at 140 he wouldn't have demolished everyone on Matts record, including Alexander and Judah? Prime Barrera and Morales would give him trouble, because they can take a punch, give a punch and box effectively.

Even Joshua Clottey, one of Pacquaios more boring fights I think would give him trouble. He has an exceptional defense in regards to his guard and can hit very hard, he's a big welterweight and it shows.
