Doubt it. He's getting out boxed thoroughly.

Floyd is the best inside fighter in the sport not named Ward.

If you think RG is winning against him on the inside, outside or on the ropes you are an absolute idiot.

The only way you have a chance of outgunning Floyd like that is if you are way bigger & stronger, which the Ghost isnt
Agreed. I love watching him fight on the inside and off the ropes.

I'm not saying Robert has the same skillset or even close to the same skillset as Floyd but folks have gotten entirely too comfortable because of Floyd's consistency and are genuinely starting to believe the man cannot be beaten. The guy is 35+ I don't know how many of ya'll are 35+ but most us can't so the same shhh we were doing at 22-25 (we can but we pay for it later lol)..the reality is as good as the shell is it is not perfect..a taller fighter with a strong over hand right can crack that shell (Which again is why Floyd wouldn't fight Paul Williams for all the money in the world)..if you are a genuinely floyd fan you should've realized that's the punch that's worked the best for any fighter going against him..from castillo to zab to mosley they've all landed that punch cleanly on Floyd with Mosley coming the closest to capitalizing from it.Oh and for the record the same punch that wobbled Floyd the first time vs mosley is the same exact punch marquez knocked down pacquaio the first time (strange huh?).

how can they all land overhand rights if half of them are Southpaws? Also, Mosley & JMM land like one or 2 meaningful punches out of 24 rounds and thats all people remember. You also have to factor in his layoffs. Both of those shots from Shane & JMM were early in the fight. He's just working off of rust from a long layoff. If he fought consistently then they wouldnt have even landed the one or 2 shots they did land.

I agree Floyd is obviously older & on the decline but until I see him slip alot, there is no one from WW on down who is going to beat him. Only much naturally bigger guys who also basically have to be Southpaws

wtf is Guerrero talking about, ever since he's moved up to WW he's been nothing but a slugger and shown no boxing skills, he fought Aydin and Berto the same way and gotten himself into 2 wars at that. If he thinks he's going to present a dog fight in terms of him fighting dirty like in his last 2 outing he's mistaken. I wouldn't be surprised If Floyd stops him...

Isn't Mayweathers chin unproven though? I mean afterall he rarely gets hit flush on it. And when he does it normally not from someone who has power.

Maybe you can't perform the same way you use to at 35+ but Floyd is a professional boxer who never drinks, smokes..ect and stays in condition yr round, so you're 35+ and Floyd's 35+ are totally different. As the late great E. Steward use to say "Floyd's not normal". Floyd has been more effective at this age then ever before, a younger 30- Floyd would have probably had trouble with someone like Ortiz who was 24..
