Garcia vs Mathysse is the STELLAR fight in that division, so why blow your wad this early when you can squeeze another fight and more money out a Judah fight?

Broner vs Vaszquez is no better for their pocket book than Reese. Broner will move up to 140 and we won't even be mentioning anyone at 135.

Mares said he wanted to move up for a while, he's on another level in his career than Santa Cruz. We can eventually see them in a fight but right now there's money to be made by both.

It's about making money, selling tickets and getting HBO and Showtime to be interested in these fights. I understand the hardcore fan wants these fights right away, but the managers involved don't want to cash out their fighters just yet.
