Everybody is talking about Austin Trout could get robbed

Never underestimate a Haymon fighter on the scorecards. Haymon is more powerful than GBP and Arum. Look at Williams[Haymon] vs Lara[GBP]. Trout[Haymon] vs Cotto[free agent] a fight that I thought was way close than the judges had it, some people think PDL was robbed against Broner, I don't think so but nonetheless that was another Haymon and GBP fighter vs a GBP[PDL].

People are quick to jump and claim that their could be a robbery in favor of Canelo here. Completely ignoring the name Al Haymon, and how power>popularity. Nobody dares to think that Canelo could end up getting jobbed on the scorecards. You say he's too popular? De La Hoya vs Trinidad[Don King one of the most powerful men in boxing at the time]/Mosley II.

Hoping for a good fight and if it goes 12, a fair decision. But it's funny how people are ignoring Al Haymon when talking about this "robbery" that could happen.

Before any one says Lara is a Haymon fighter, he signed with Haymon AFTER the Williams fights.

Good points. For fighting in his opponent's backyards so much, Trout has never got shafted on the scorecards. Coincidence? Haymon's influence is hard to ignore, but Canelo's sheer popularity is no different than Chavez Jr.'s and he got loss he deserved against Martinez. I think the right guy will get the win.

Well golden boy sure were powerful enough to force feed the public canelo's bogus title shot & all but 1 of his defenses were garbage. His star is flying high & the anticipation for him & Floyd is there. Think Oscar/B-Hop/Sturm.

Like his position? He is fighter's managers, negotiating with the network along with promoters for deals. He has so much influence because if you turn down one of his fights, he can go to the other network with his bigger names.

These are some of the other things that will happen on the same day that an Al Haymon fighter gets "robbed" on the scorecards:

Calzaghe comes out of retirement to fight Carl Froch.
              Roy Jones Jr retires.
              Pacquiao finally beats Marquez.
Mayweather vs Pacquiao is signed shortly after that on the same night.
De La Hoya vs Hatton at Wembley Stadium.

                100% correct.

And GBP can't risk destroying their relationship with Haymon because he's got a lot of their up and coming fighters on his roster: Danny Garcia, Leo Santa Cruz, Adrien Broner, etc.
