The emerging king from 140 will either be Lucas, Garcia, or Broner

I agree. I think broner/matthysse is the better fight but broner/garcia would sell alot of seats in AC or brooklyn.

Chin, heart, mental strength, conditioning, inside game; body punching and he packs a pretty good punch, especially with the right hand. His demeanor as a fighter makes him that more dangerous, the fact that getting hit makes him the all more ecstatic. I think people confuse him for the Gatti or Margarito type when he's much more than that, he does subtle movements that allows him to roll with punches, some fail to see it though. Even against Alvarado, he may have eaten a lot of punches but he defended himself well in many instances. Stylistically I don't see how Garcia has a shot, honestly.

Lucas and Peterson could beat anyone, Garcia could beat everyone but i'd have him as a slight underdog against peterson and Lucas.

I'm going to reserve judgment on Broner. Of the guys there right now, Matthysse and Peterson are the best, and I think Matthysse wins the most fights.

I think hes a bum who gets to much credit fir beating a fringe top 10 contender. A fight he was losing by the way which has become important as of late.

Why are people so high on Peterson? Khan beat the dude... Peterson must have looked good vs a very faded Holt cause I never thought he was all that amazing.

For me, it's because his strengths match up well with what would work against the other top fighters. Peterson is a very hard fighter to beat inside, and Matthysse, Garcia, and Rios are all guys who look to stand and fight, which Peterson does very well.

If Matthysse didn't hit as hard as he does, I'd pick Peterson over them all.
