Has there ever been a case of a fighter having their friend put down big money on them losing?

      Wouldn't be surprised.....but +700 isn't really good enough for rigging a fight.

-1000 means you have to bet 1000 to win 100
+1000 means you have to bet 100 to win 1000

          That is a money line.

So basically, Vegas isn't gonna make it lop sided for Floyd, in case Guerrero wins?

Edit: Oh, so if you bet 100 down on Guerrero, you'd be making 1000? Does it work that way? Since Floyd would be at -1000, then Guerrero would be +1000 right?

don't waste it! Floyd's already estimated this for an easy fight.

I agree. I think the odds will tighten up as the fight gets closer. you have to bet 1300 to win 100 if you bet on Mayweather but only win 700 if you bet 100 on Guerrero. Those odds are really stacked in favor of the house. I think some other betting places might offer better odds on both fighters.

The line almost can't be big enough to rig a fight like this because any bets or sums large enough to make it worthwhile will raise huge su****ions.

That is the plus side of huge money being involved in the sport, but the downside would be there are people not getting paid much who can directly effect the outcome of a fight.

That's a good ass deal though. I'd probably put down $300 on Guerrero.
