I don't see what the fuss is all about to be honest, maybe it's because I didn't watch it live but after watching it now it doesn't seem extra-ordinary to me.
nothing strange about getting emotional when you achieve your life goal. when you worked your entire life for something, sacrificed so much in life and put your soul into something. going into your thirties and never reaching that goal, getting to the point where you think it might not happen, then it does.
it would be strange if he wasnt emotional. lots of fighters cry when they had big wins, mcllellan and abraham both cried when they became world champions just to name two off the top of my head.
I don't think it's something to laugh about. He's been through a lot to get that title. I remember watching him 4 or 5 years ago in Brooklyn and thought he was good but that he wasn't popular enough to get a title or attention on TV. Props to him.
