In the opening bout of the evening, undefeated Anthony Burgin (3-0) used his reach and power to control the feisty Elvis Rodriguez over the course of 4 rounds. The smaller Rodriguez had his moments when he was able to get on the inside, but unfortuantely for him they were not enough. All 3 judges scored the bout 40-36 in favor of Anthony Burgin.
