And yet at the end of the fight, O' Neil came out looking as if he wasn't in a fight, going nearly unmarked. Yet O' Neil looked to be constantly taking flush, crushing blows...astonishing!

the last punch in the knockdown, Bell punched Mormeck flush right back of the head. When I saw that I was like...holy crap. Mormeck turned out to be ok when I saw the post fight conference. However, shouldnt there be some penalty if you get knocked down because of a flush shot in the back of the head?

The one thing I learned from the fight, and it was a good fight, was that I have heavy doubts about either at the HW level even if it is a weak one. I had never seen either before but I just don't think either would make good heavies, or great ones anyways. Bell looked soft at 200 so you gotta question his shape at 220 and if he would show the same power and chin. He'd make a decent heavy but I think Toney would carve him up. I try not to judge Mormeck too much because he got gassed so I'd have to see him in a fight where he was better prepared to fight deep.

the ref needs to be evaluated because he was letting Bell hold and hit all night long, that and hit behind the head. he gave a warning for that once or twice, but he let it happen for the rest of the fight. it was a right hand that had Mormeck hurt but it was the combination of blows to the back of the head that had
Mormeck out and i found it rather bothersome to watch. i can't stand hitting behind the head, especially like those ones, the very last shot from Bell was on the back of the neck right at the brain stem..............not good....
