Baldomir upset has cleared the way for Gatti to regain welterweight crown

This upset seems perfect now for Gatti to regain the welterweight title as long as he beats Daamgard on the 26th. This is something I would love to see because it would pressure another Gatti vs. Mayweather fight and I still think Gatti can win that matchup.

i dont know , Gatti looked beat pretty bad and Mayweather had him pinned and bothered the whole fight. Not sure if people would be interested in it again seeing as how it was a major oned sided fight. But i dont care , **** i love boxing. Id watch it.

are you fuccing serious? c'mon man, i understand ur a gatti fan but ub saw what pbf did to him right? and you honestly believe he can take it to floyd? its a waste of time, floyd should fight champions and bigger names, he needs to make everyone believe he's at the top of the game and gatti would not be that fighter

gatti may be able to win the matchup against baldomir, but floyd would beat the **** out of him...again.

Wouldn't Gatti needed to have held the Welterweight crown at some point in order to 'regain' it?

Who in their right mind would want to see Gatti/Mayweather 2? And what do you mean by "regain the Welterweight title?" Gatti never had a belt at 147.

as much as i would like to see arturo win the 147lb title, there is no way i would ever want to see gatti in the same ring again with mayweather. if gatti couldnt beat mayweather at gatti's natural weight... do i even need to finish that sentence?
