Is Audley Harrison still a big Draw in the UK?

Just wanted your thoughts on whether Audley (no matter how bad his performances are) is still a crowd puller due to his controversial attitude

Harrison hasn't been a "draw" for years. He may still pull in a few views every now and then but that's mostly due to his opponents. Pre-Haye, he had almost become a forgotten man.

the nickname Fraudley was being thrown around in the mid-Norties in the UK, tbh.

He is the epitome of idiocracy, and thats all he qualifies. His only brief floure with fame again was his presence as the class goofball in that Strictly Dancing competition a few years ago.

even seeing him get koed is a non entity now, all he does is turn up and flop down as soon as his opponent touches him. Nevermind any kind of title, the guy is not even a boxer anymore.

He's a level or two below Haye, Hatton and Froch.
But yes, he is a draw on the UK scene. Think about it, he won a gold medal, has been around years, was on terrestrial tv... people know him.
It's undeniable that he has talent, but nowadays people will come just to see him beaten.

kind of. People like to see him get knocked out. There's good reason Price fought him. He still has a lot of name value in the UK.

don't know how even UK fans can take him seriously
he's one of the biggest flops in recent boxing memory
he at least coulda gone all out in his undeserved shot at Haye
that fight was disgraceful, surprised anyone would wanna watch him

Hes not a draw by himself, but put him in with a name fighter and people know who he is so he probably draws a few more ratings than they would have without him.

Plus he talks a good game so he creates some hype for fights among casuals.

But he doesnt have any fans that i know of!
