    These fighters were amateur stars who became world champions or strong contenders in their own right.

    While Gamboa is unbeaten and holds a world title belt and the Klitschkos hold court in the heavyweight division, one former amateur champion who is not mentioned as often is eager to prove he can dominate a division.

    I think he could, although Acosta was damage goods he beat a good experienced fighter despite getting knocked down once not to mention he should of finished Acosta in the early rounds.Age is what concerns me about him he just needs to get that title shot soon.Reminds me of a slicker Darchinyan with sneaky hand speed and pop to make anyone retract back.
