No. That would be like saying 50 cent is a better rapper than Rakim because he sold more records.

Wrong. You get this kind of money by fighting fighters with a fan following that is big. By playing a roll that makes people hate you or on you. They wanna see you lose. That combined draws big Paydays...despite the opposition being either old, past prime , weight advantages, or even pay offs. That dont mean you fight the best prime strongest fighters out there. This is a business. Ive been more disappointed in PPV events than ive ever been watching FNFs on ESPN2 . Thats because the up comers and cross roads fighters fight with their heart and soul with hopes they can get the big pay day chance.

Right now, The consensus best fighter in the world is by far the sports highest paid and has been so since he defeated ODH. ALi and SRL were considered the best and they were the highest grossing as well. So to answer the TS question sometimes it does.

Now with Tyson and ODH you can argue otherwise. Niether was better than RJJ or Toney IMO but both outsold them considerably.

There are other fighters with large fanbases, Manny, Hamed, Canelo, Trinidad- who sell a ton but aren't the best in the sport. There are great fighters who -Ward, Hagler, Ricardo Lopez-that may be the best in the world but don't sell alot.

The answer is obviously no but at the end of the day its a job and if you're making the most money good for you. Even though Floyd picks fighters where he will take less risk but can you really blame him hes still making bank on it at the end of the day. Now i cant agree with many of his claims as far as him being better than certain past fighters and such but I'm still a fan of his talents

No, it just means you have a really good adviser named Al Haymon. Which both t.v networks like a lot and gets his fighters the best deals that can be made. Pac's adviser is a f**king clown.
