I think the 1st Guerrero fight will be way more competitive than many think. I think Floyd will win it by close SD that many will think that Robert won. This will lead up to the rematch that Floyd wins in another close fight. Next May he will win a very close and entertaining fight against Canelo. Because of the money it generates, there will be a rematch. I think an older, slower Floyd will lose a tough fight against Canelo, which leads to the rubbermatch. Floyd loses again in more decisive fashion. He will hold his head high and give all the props to Canelo and then annouce his retirement in the middle of the ring.
I honestly can't see Floyd fighting Maidana, Alexander, Bradley, or any other younger guy that doesn't have a huge fan base. Oh, in case Canelo loses to Trout, Floyd steps up and faces Martinez for the undisputed Middleweight Championship of the world. It would do huge numbers. And lets be honest. That's the only reason he is still in it.Last edited by jvsnypes; 02-20-2013, 04:20 AM.Comment

Floyd has fought many fighters with no fan base: ortiz, baldomir, hatton, and now guerrero. These guys were never the cream. There are others as well. To all those idiots that think floyd will fight canelo, trout, and other challenges...keep dreaming. Floyd has not given way to a real live opponent in agesComment

Very hard to predict an answer to questions like this.we've all got opinions on who we'd like floyd to fight, but realistically who he will fight, most of us find it hard to see after fighting only once a year for the past 4/5 years that he's gonna fight 6 times over the next 3 years.i still can't imagine him fighting Guerrero in may then Canelo( presuming he beats trout) in September.as for after that, cos of gbp/ top rank not working together it seems only realistic to picture him fighting non top rank fighters anywhere between 135-154. So khan , Garcia, brook, Alexander all fit the bill. Ortiz has had his chance and lost since, Berto similarly would need a few big wins to put his name back up there.but who knows, who'd of thought in 2005 that 3 years later pacquiao would be fightingoscar at 147Comment

Guerrero
Canelo-Trout winner (Canelo)
Alexander-Brook winner (Can't make a pick but maybe Mayweather can finally fight in the U.K if Brook is victorious)
Danny Garcia-Mathysse winner...Broner might crash that whole party though.
Nothing great really, but that's where we're at right now as far as talent goes. The only great match up is Bradley-Mayweather, I really do see Tim giving Mayweather serious serious problems, but that ain't happening.Comment

dude I know you are just stating your opinion but how do you honestly expect bradley and pacquiao to go ahead when they are both with top rank and top rank is ****ing hbo.not who you want him to fight, but realistically who he will fight
1. Guerrero
2. Canelo: pretty positive he will fight canelo/trout winner in September
3. Marquez II: easy money fight
4. Bradley: easy win/good name on resume
5. Khan: could be potential superfight in 2015
6. Pacquiao: last big money/legacy fight and then he retires
in that order for me. All easy wins but big names which is why i think they all make sense. if Floyd goes 6-0 he'd be top 10 atg imo
like seriously?Comment

Did you really just say Hatton didn't have a fan base? Stop posting.Floyd has fought many fighters with no fan base: ortiz, baldomir, hatton, and now guerrero. These guys were never the cream. There are others as well. To all those idiots that think floyd will fight canelo, trout, and other challenges...keep dreaming. Floyd has not given way to a real live opponent in agesComment
