Winky's wins over Trinidad and a far superior version of Mosley (to the one Cotto ultimately faced and some say lost to) shat all over Cotto's record. Alone.
How so? Trinidad was just exposed by Hopkins and Some say Mosley beat Winky too. Plus Mosley went on to knock out Mosley and Margarito which is better then when he beat Vargas twice.

H2H I think its closer then a lot of people think. Cotto could make it a close split decision. Cotto was not as one dimensional as Trinidad.

lol prime Wrinky would take what Austin Trout did to Cotto @ 154 to a whole new level. Winky was outrageously strong for his Middleweight frame. He would dominate and bully Cotto. Not even.

If you have to ask. Son. Then you weren't a fan at the time.

                You must be newer.

Records can be deceiving, they both fought Mosley but what year and that meant which Mosley, prime or beyond!! I'm not looking it up, bottom line is Winky is a better fighter and head to head beats Cotto every time. Ray.

Who avoided him? He turned down the Oscar fight, and fought the big names at 154 and 160.

If you can't answer, just say so.

Vargas is when they realized they needed to avoid him. That fight doesn't count, bud. That was in 1999. Mosley HONORABLY gave Winky the chance almost five years later. Five years... IS THIS HELPING??

The Mosley fights changed Winky's career.

Trinidad was foolish enough to make Mosley's mistake. The wins over Mosley and Trinidad made the Taylor and Hopkins fights possible.

Winky had a name at that point.

                      K? IS THIS HELPING??
