In some point you’re right. After all, fans know who is Rigo in the negotiating table! So, for the interest of boxing fans, Donaire should ripped this contract and make a new one that will not require Rigo for random blood test so the fight will be saved. This is not a big deal for Donaire after all I believe, because he said he is ready to fight anybody even without agreeing to subject themselves into random blood test!
So why is he trying to pull out of the fight and looking for another opponent?

    • Rigo's team are now claiming they were waiting for a copy of the contract in Spanish before Rigo himself would sign it, because he wanted to see what he was signing - http://www.maqdown.com/2013/02/team-...-our-drug.html

Initially this seems like a plausible excuse, but when you think about it:

      1. Why would it take this long to get a Spanish copy of the contract?
      2. Why couldn't they have just translated the contract themselves, why couldn't an English & Spanish speaker just have explained the contents to Rigo?
      3. Hasn't Rigo already undergone random testing at the Olympics anyway? It's not a leap into the unknown for him.

Either way let's hope this shit gets put to bed tomorrow.

yes he is .. rigo did'nt keep his word for sure tho .. but it you say youre not requiring the test but at the same time refuse to fight youre opponent if they do not test, thats a BIG contradiction right there...

Rigo agreed to testing IN HIS WORDS! They sent him the Testing Contract and Caribe said Rigo is signing Wednesday. Understand?

You really don't know anything about business power-plays. If Rigo had NEVER agreed, and then Donaire pulled out, BOTH guys would be to blame. But Rigo agreed to testing and Donaire HELD HIM to it.....that simple and now Donaire is calling the shots and pressuring Rigo to sign, that is why he is signing. That is everything in a nutshell. Donaire calls the shots. If Rigo beats Donaire, Rigo calls the shots.
