HBO can't make Broner fight remember he's a Golden Boy fighter so why would they compete with themselves. He wouldn't do it anyways.

No need to square off against them, so many other dates in the year to do that.

But if they did, they definetly would need Pacquiao, Marquez, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Brandon Rios, Nonito Donaire. 4 out of those 5 names on the card to go up against Mayweather - Guerrero; Canelo - Trout.

They could with like an "Ok" card just outta spite to try and steal some viewers but don't expect to make much money or any at all.

I see the JMM vs Pac V thing being said but I don't think that'll stop Canelo vs Floyd from moving that date if they both win

if hbo and/or espn airs it rather than ppv, that could be a game changer.

****, I'd love to see that. Boxing has us with our wishful thoughts but you never know. I just think it'd be great for boxing as a whole to see these guys not be afraid of going against each other on the same night.

if you can't co-promote with em, compete against em

HBO can put JCC Jr vs GGG and/or Marquez vs Rios on May 4th and I know which one I'm buying

HBO just does everything better, Ring entrances, Michael Buffer, Commentary, Post fight interviews, pre and post fight analysis, etc

I certainly hope so. Wait, when is Jr's suspension over? I'd give commentary & post fight interviews to Showtime bruh.
