Good. I'm so sick of listening to the nutt hugging cheerleaders on HBO.

Frankly, even though they are still considered the "majors"-showtime was putting on better fights for a while.
Don't forget the fact that a great fighter is not necessarily a great PPV attraction. Ex: Marquez, Martinez, Donaire..etc.

This is not good for HBO at all. It might be an opportunity to do things better as well.

Doesn't Canelo fight on showtime? As a matter of fact, dont ALL golden boy fighters at some point fight on showtime? and if they havent yet, doesnt it look like they are about to now?

Marquez says Floyd is not in his plans, Pacquiao got knocked out cold. Floyd is moving on with his career. I personally dislike the move, because i HATE the MMA dude's blow by blow. But as far as him having any less of a selection of fighters is ridiculous. The only fighters who have network deals are Top Rank and GB fighters. And Floyd wasnt fighting any Top Rank fighters anyway, so how has his potential opponents changed?

I thought Floyd would never leave HBO I'm hoping for 3-4 more fights

Will be interesting to see what the nature of the CBS role in this will be.

Maybe Fight Camp 360 aired on network channel? Can only be good for the sport.

you have to figure he fights once on CBS in what will most likely be a steve forbes level opponent.

He has one of those in Guerrero(although I like RG and dont begrudge him the payday), this will be a total mismatch.

Also will this see Broner/Alvarez get a huge promotional push from HBO?

I know Alvarez was on Showtime recently but im sure could move back especially as HBO will be looking to secure replacements for Floyds drawing power.
