Matthysse is one of the best at 140 and Maidana is just a guy at 147. why would Matthysse take a step back when he's got the lineal champ at 140 in his sights?

Golden Boy needs to start actually PROMOTING these argentines. Maidana wants to fight Malignaggi and Malignaggi wants to fight him but for some odd reason GBP isn't making the fight. they're aren't doing it so they can give the belt to Andre Berto maybe?

Mathysee is a better, more polished version of Maidana. Same type of power but more accurate, more compact, straighter punches, better defence by far. No one would be foolish enough to think Maidana could beat a much better version of himself which is what Mathysee is.

Are you crazy? Im a huge fan of Maidana's because I love how he fights, but he isnt very skilled and he doesn't pose a threat to Lucas. I can't see Lucas viewing Maidana as a threat. This isn't the amateurs.
