Be patient. The ultimate goal is to make money. Money comes from megafights and PPV buys.

I think the sport is in a transition stage where promoters are trying to build that next generation of stars. Fights will be made eventually, see Canelo vs. Trout.

Yea, I hope you're right. I agree with the Canelo v. Trout as well. It just makes me nervous because fights get thrown away like Juanma Gamboa and Pac Mayweather because of a loss. Fighters have a risk with each fight they have to throw away a mega fight.

For every match up that didn't happen, you can name 5 that did. We take for granted the fights that did happen, maybe because they didn't come out as we expected.

Recent fights you should be thankful for, regardless if they didn't end up the way you envisioned it[no order]: Wlad vs Haye, Ward vs Froch, Adamek vs Cunningham II, Marquez vs Diaz, Broner-DeMarco, Mares-Moreno, Pacquiao-Bradley, Rios-Alvarado, Mayweather-Mosley, Margarito-Cotto I, etc.

Upcoming fights you should be focusing on, instead of whining about fights that are not happening:

            Canelo vs Trout
            Rigondeaux vs Donaire
            Froch vs Kessler II
            Mayweather vs Guerrero
            Rios vs Alvarado II

And we're just in Feb, there's many more fights to be signed.

I'm not whining. Just putting it out there.....Btw, I personally did not pray to the boxing Gods for Mayweather v. Guerrero...that fight doesnt fit the description of what I'm "whining" about.

Although I do agree with your both lists for the most part. I would also include calzaghe Kessler

BTW since when has the boxing world been asking for Broner vs Garcia? This is new to me. Just several months ago we were dying to see Broner vs DeMarco, and then after that the Burns vs Vazquez winner...when the hell did Danny Garcia entered this 135 picture? Is it because you know now that the fight will not happen because they are close friends? That's just how boxing fans are, once they find out a fight can't happen, they want it.

Have to laugh at the Floydiots shouting "its all Arum's fault". Yep he is an arse, but he is just as bad as any other promoter.

The real answer is that these days, promoters, sanctioning bodies, tv deals, and fighters looking to max out earnings over respect and reputation by following the model Floyd set are all contributors to this mess.

Out of all of that I give the smaller part of blame to the fighters as they are the ones getting punched in the face......Shame that its not Arum, Schaeffer, Sulaiman etc. getting punched in the face...I would gladly go £50 to see that.

When Mayweather-Alexander looked to be in the lead, every one was saying Floyd is afraid of Guerrero. Now nobody is praying for that fight anymore, because it's back on.
