How is Alexander not worthy to fight Mayweather? If you ask me he has a better chance of winning more rounds with Mayweather cause he's a skilled and smart fighter! Alexander and The Ghost has pretty much the same records and has fought great name and Alexander is a 2 time world champ r u fools forgetting that! I think Golden Boy realized they screwed up by holding the Kell Brook fight in Detroit where there was never a chance of selling any tickets, told Alexander to pull out so they could generate some interest and then paid Floyd to tweet about Alexander.
There is a lot more interest in Devon Alexanders next opponent now than there was 2 weeks ago.
Smart move but in my opinion the fight should always have been held in the UK where they could easily have sold 20-30,000 tickets. PPV numbers would have suffered in America but seriously how many buys will this fight realistically get?
