The testing in boxing is an utter joke. Armstrong avoided detection while under the microscope of an advanced, motivated organization. Lance had it down to a science. It doesn't take a genius to test clean in boxing. It just requires a little know-how.

I think Broner is a very talented fighter, although I can barely stomach his persona. This bullshit about Gamboa having to clean up his act is, as you point to, just another attempt of Adrien to emulate his hero Floyd. (By the way, I believe the chances are that Yuri has used PEDs at some point, but I don't believe that's why Broner is avoiding him.)

His accusations of several boxers being on performance enhancing drugs are disgusting and un-professional. He should be penalised and sued for defamation.

How would he liked it if someone accused him of PED's with no reasonable proof?

Fighters shouldn't be publicly commenting on individual cases in the absence of evidence, for lots of reasons.

It does look bad for Gamboa though, and no one should be talking about this guy being in fights in the near future. If he's guilty he should be looking at a long, long ban.

Gamboa hasn't been officially found guilty but it's pretty much a wrap.
