Thailand’s Beijing Olympian Amnat Ruenroeng has won the first IBF Asia flyweight title with an easy twelve round decision over perennial Filipino loser Michael Rodriguez in Ratchaburi, Thailand.
All three Thai judges had Ruenroeng winning handily. Yongsak Na Siongkha and Kriangsak Thonghong turned in identical scorecards of 118-110 while the third judge Somkid Yaloomyath had Ruenroeng ahead 117-111.
