Lol sorry broner but the best fighter you have fought was ponce and guess what he beat you when you go to 140 I'm sure you will dodge the punches at 140 like Garcia and Lucas you might beat Jmm since he's getting old but other then that who are you beating

Yeah too bad him and Garcia have already said they aren't fighting each other. They've been friends since they were 7.

Broner belongs at 140. Many good fights at that weight. Broner is one of my top fave fighters now, on account of his swagger.

People just need to chill the **** out and just wait.

There's plenty of great fights at 140 that need to be made right now. Broner isn't needed in that division yet. He's a lightweight that makes weight drinking a can of Sprite.

Garcia/Khan/Peterson/Matthysse/Judah all need to fight each other

Broner needs to fight Abril/Bogere winner and Ricky Burns/Vasquez winner.

That's the only fights that matter at these weights right now. Everything else is just fantasy fights and speculation.

Solid post, explains my sentiments exactly as far as the fights broner needs to try to make before moving up.

no way you walk any of those guys down taking shots with no problem like you do these smaller fighters...

Broner definitely has the skills to back up his big mouth. However, after last nights fight, he showed it's not that hard to hit him. Rees got a lot of clean shots on him in the early rounds. Too bad he didn't have the power to phase Broner. 140 will be a different story. There are some monsterous punchers that could really hurt him. He won't be able to make 135 much longer and we'll see how good he really is when he starts playing with the big boys at 140. CAN'T WAIT!

Broner's lack of footwork is a bad style matchup with Vasquez. You have to have fast feet to beat Vasquez.....you cannot walk him down, no one walks him down with his dart in and out style. Thats an unexciting fight either guy could win but would not make anyone forget Hagler-Hearns thats for sure. A lot of booing and innefectiveness from Broner and bicycling by Vasquez.

There really is an abundance of great fights to be made at 140 right now. You have to hope it makes enough sense for the promoters to give us some of the better ones.

Dont kid yourself. The boxer wouldn't but management would and notice that Broner only mentions Burns, not Vasquez and it is hardly a foregone conclusion that Burns beats Vasquez, in fact Burns will be the underdog. Many times a management team will not put thier fighter in with a guy who could make them look bad or lose and look bad against.
