Whats up with the praise for Broner sub-par Performance last night?

No shocker this thread get filled with the narrow minded people who think somehow my post was meant to be disrespectful to broner.

I do not hate broner, in my other post here i actually mention how he can be the one to take over boxing when mayweather retires.

Just mentioning his performance and judging him by last night for last night fight, and I see all these people who are praising him up and down and I ask my self what are they praising exactly? what did he do that was so shocking or out of what was expected?

He took care of business and displayed power, speed and the ability to make in-fight adjustments. He kept fans interested in his next move.

In my opinion Broner just played with Rees for a few rounds.....to make a longer fight. No doubt to me he couldve ended it earlier.

nah man... Reese came to fight and win... it took Broner 2 rounds to get used to Reese' style and speed

His performance was sub-par Reese won over the crowd and he brought the fight to Broner, Only success Broner had was due to size, he didn't awe or ooh the crowd with his skills, he was out show boated, out worked, and out hearted by the 5'4 Rees.

Broner got the W last night but nothing else, this didn't raise his stock but lowered it in fact, he apologized last night as he should have for his piss poor performance as he should be embarrassed about.

What did broner do that he wasnt expected to do to this cherry pick of a fighter?

Whats your point? The corner waved the white flag. Broner made them do that because of the punishment.
Why you hating on the 23 yr old Broner?

He looks like a seasoned fighter at just 23.

Broner dominated really, Rees might have won a round or two but he wasn't going to win another one and the fight got stopped before the midway point.

I know a lot of people didn't respect Rees and expected Broner to have zero trouble but keep in mind Rees is paid to try and win also so any pro fighter giving another guy trouble is not unreasonable no matter how wide you feel the gulf in talent is.

Agreed. Broner made it painfully obvious. He literally started bulling him when he got his bearings. It was like he realized suddenly he was fighting an infant and decided he could simply overpower Rees.

Why are you guys allowed to bust nuts over GGG beating Rosado or Matthysse knocking out Mike Dallas Jr? Or Donaire knocking out Arce?
