I don't think this would be a close fight its just a matter of who prevails. I'm 50/50.

Abril can win every round against Rios, but Broner would get ko'd? Good times guys

Although technically I would give Rios the edge only because we already know what he's made of, he's been tested. He's just gonna walk forward and throw punches. Poor defense, little head movement. A one trick pony. A very dangerous one of course. Its obvious he can be outboxed easily by the right fighter.

The question mark is Broner because he's never really been tested against such an aggressive heavy hitter. We don't know how he'll react.

          Abril moved, constantly.

Broner doesn't and has shown no indication that he can, the wide stance being a problem. He'd have to change his stance, which would change his style. Broner's normal style would see Rios getting up close with no problems.

Triangle theories would also say Broner struggled with the pressure from a very small Ponce, imagine a bigger stronger Rios...

yep, n Broner is there to be hit, hes not a defensive wizard like Mayweather or even Abril who schooled Rios

              Broner is no Abril.
Be careful what you ask for.

That fight would look like Mosley/Margarito before any of those fights. Abril also operated out of a shoulder roll and he isn't half as good at it as Broner is.

Rios is just SO slow. At least Broner has some sort of defense and keeps hands up and rolls. Rios blocs pretty much every punch with his face.

Mosley/Margarito had a number of factors, in fairness.

Broner is a good puncher, but not like Mosley. Rios also fights better up close than Margarito, who requires space, which Mosley took away.

Rios struggled in that fight because Abril did a lot of moving (some called it running), Broner doesn;t do that and his wide stance wont allow it, unless he changes it and loses some power. Rees was hitting Broner pretty clean, the defensive work from Broner is not as good as some seem to think.

Blocking with your face is not ideal, but when your chin is iron, you get by. Ponce wasn't fast btw.

Ponce is faster than Rios and operates out of a completely different stance anyways so there isn't much point in talking that fight. Rios was noticeably shaken a few times in his fights too. Against Acosta/Antillon and Alvarado.

Blocking with your face is not ideal, no matter how iron a chin is once you get to the big leagues.

Broner will fight Golden boy fighters and Rios will fight Top rank fighters.
