In a great fight, Joselyn "La Princess" Arroyo won a ten round unanimous decision over Japanese opponent Mamoko Kanda before a crowd of over two thousand people at the Great Mexican Restaurant in Guadalajara, with the TV cameras of Azteca America rolling. Arroyo (12-0-0, 4 KOs), 18-years-old, showed great maturity in dominating Kanda (7-5-2) in their flyweight fight.
