Amateur boxing is amateur boxing. It has its place. That place has no bearing on fights without headgear. Ask Tillman, ask Biggs, ask Pinto...hell you can ask a lot of amateur winners who lost to those same fighters in the pros.

The most prominent example of an amateur winner becoming a professional loser was the combination of Joe Frazier and Buster Mathis. Mathis was the fastest fighter on his feet, for his size that I'd ever seen.
