Russell Jr. vs. Gusev is another one.
Yes. Just after I made the poll I thought I should have included Russell Jr vs. Gusev with the others.

Absolutely not. wlads next fight is a voluntray defense and the names floated have been pianeta, oquendo and some other lower level fighters. I think whether you are a klit fan or not we can agree this is a designed cash grab and will be a huge mismatch.

An objective thread would've included it as an option.

How could I, when no opponent has been chosen? The last I heard they are talking to Pianeta and Jennings.

And stop lying, Fres Oquendo was never considered. He wanted it, but they immediately said "no".

Wlad always fights the best opponent available. Now that a court has resolved Denis Boytsov's promotional dispute, he is available and may be contacted.

Don't you think Broner vs. Rees is a mismatch? Nearly everybody else seems to.

What about Bradley vs. Provodnikov? There are other options besides him. There are better Russians at 140 than Provodnikov, namely Denis Shafikov and Khabib Allakhverdiev, both top ten in the division.

The limited pressure fighter Provodnikov (tailor-made for Bradley) is BoxRec #23 at light welterweight. That's lower than Pianeta at heavyweight, who is BoxRec #17.

well, thats fair it hasn't been announced. wlad always fight the best available- thats a stretch even for you.

broner/rees and bradley/provd are both mismatches on paper. wlads voluntary defense will be the same thing.

the 140lb division is significantly better and deeper than the HWT division. SO being 23rd at JWW would be better than being 17th at HWT.

Looks like most people think the worst mismatch is Broner vs. Rees.

Gusev is white and an Eastern Euro superman. Plus he's ranked #7 by the WBO.

Don't be surprised if he gives that young, flash negro a sound thrashing.

Add Canelo vs Trout to the list in Trout's favor.

We could make a bet for all your points if you like?
                    I pick Canelo.

I don't bet all my points unless its one of my fighters and Trout is not one of them. I'll make some bets IF this fight is made tho.
