That would be the sensible response, Dunn. However most boxing fans today (well the majority on here) don't use sense when posting. Just silly name calling & insulting boxers.

I think Broner is good enough to where even if Rees attempts to make it tough, he'll still wind up catching an ass whupping. Broner has stopped everyone since PDL, and there's nothing about Rees that makes me believe that Broner can't get a stoppage.

Understood. But if it ends up being a tough fight and broner wins, well hey he proved something, not disproved something.

My point is, given Broners rise to fame, the way hes performed in recent fights and his potential as a fighter. The prospect of Rees, eventhough good, giving Broner a tough fight at this stage would certainly shatter some of the illusion.

yes i know boxing is hard
                yes fighters have tough fights

I don't expect a competitive fight. Maybe Rees will make it "tough" by fighting sporadically and using the ring, but he isn't going to win rounds like that. Once he gets tired, he'll become a sitting duck and get stopped.

Agreed. but if something unexpectedly occurs, a freak cut, a thumb, a well placed shot (think floyd/shane) that alters this?

winning under adversity is never a bad thing in boxing, especially for a 23yr old with 25 pro fights and about 100-125 pro rounds.
