    Will Calzaghe turn up?

I've just bought my tickets for the Calzaghe - Lacey fight at a cost of £100 each, plus £9 booking fee for each ticket (what the **** is that about!?) and £4.75 postage and packaging (they put a 30 pence stamp on it the robbing bastards). Anyway, when I was telling people down the pub I'd got my tickets, I kept getting people saying Calzaghe wont turn up. I think he will cos if he doesnt he's basically finished as far as being taken seriously is concerned. I ended up putting money on him turning up with a couple of people. Then I got in a fight on the way home with about eight people - only got punched twice cos I'm so slick haha. Anyways, what does anyone on here think? Sicknote again? I'm praying not.

i hate thinking about how history xould of been so different if
calzaghe had taken that fight with glengoffe, who instead fought,
and koed his royness. man not only may roy of made a recovery,
calzaghe may of ended up fighting him himself, had he beat johnson

I had tickets for that fight and instead had to sit through Hatton vs Vilches which is the worst fight I've seen live except Calzaghe vs Ashira, which was truly awful.

Its the biggest fight of his career. The photo shoots/press conference etc have all been done. There is no backing out-not that he would have backed out. Thats just **** Yanks keep ****ing on about. Joe will turn up. Will knock Lacy's block off and finally conquor the world. Mo hahahah. Mo hahahaha.

I'll remember you say that... care to make a wager with me when the date approaches much more quickly? But Calzaghe will show up... But show up ready to fight? Who knows.

When the fight approaches, I'll place a 50 mill wager on a Calzaghe victory with you.

Cooooorect you are! Thats why he will turn up. Why would any man be ****** enough to give away 500k for free. That would the easy pay day in boxing history.
