Who else thinks that moving up to 140 would benefit Corrales?

All corrales needs to do is wait for Castillo to move up to 140 so he can dominate the 135lb division.

Corrales always says he doesnt have problems making weight, why change something he can do easily. His frame is skinny so i dont think its as bad as some people are trying to suggest it is.

Plus at 135 without Castillo... whos gonna beat him?

if you remember after corrales/castilloI diego was saying he was moving up to 140 till the wbc told him he had to rematch castillo.

i think a 140 corrales would have a more solid chin only because he wouldnt have to dehydrate himself to make weight.and he would definitely bring his power up in weight plus some.his punchers style of boxing he's exibited against castillo and others is worrisome to me and would hope he would work on his defense.him and zab bug the hell out of me with there hands down defense.

i dunno. it might. 135 is pretty much played out for corrales. moving up to 140 might help him out.

but he said hes gonna retire after a few more fights and i dont know if his chin will stand up to a heavier weight class.

I dont think corrales has a bad chin. I think he just Gets hit Flush way too much. He needs to improve his defense

I agree totally. He has been hit so many times without justification. I saw a clip of him earlier in his career, he was talking just fine, now he can barely speak fluently. He took may to many flush shots in both Castillo fights, in the Mayweather fight and the Casamayor fight. He really needs to work on his defense, if not, he has NO chance with any top contenders at 140.
