    spending thousands on strippers

even his best friend is on radio shows telling people Floyd doesn't have an accountant and has no buisnesses outside of Boxing (and selling folders) That he's going to go broke. His bestfriend

Bought his Fiancee a 16 million dollar ring so that 50 cent can pounce on that what a smart move I suppose if your a Floydiot

How could Pacman's name not be linked to Mayweather? And I hope he has woken up.

Pac's never going to be broke. Keep in mind, he's also a freaking POLITICIAN. Once his boxer career is dead, he'll be stealing from his constituents.

Rafael also reported that he needed an advance for his JMM fight.

Not sure if this has been said in this thread, just looked at the first page and wanted to clarify the situation. The reason why they are looking at other places for the Marquez fight is because Marquez will not do the fight unless he gets close to half of $. Because of this Arum will not be able to meet Manny's guarantee (which is in his new contract). The only way to make the numbers work is for the fight to be abroad. Fighting in the U.S. is expensive because of the taxes. By reducing this cost (close to 30%) the guarantees will be met, and the fight can happen. There will be a small hit on the gate, and maybe ppv because of time zone issues (if in Singapore or China) but it will be less than the taxes.

Maybe Pacquiao is broke, I do not know. But the reason they are talking about the taxes is because of the Marquez split and Manny's guarantee.

I don't understand people on these forums sometimes. They complain when Floyd is mentioned in a Pacquiao thread, yet go and talk down Pacquiao in Floyd threads? Hypocrisy is rife...

Pacquiao broke? Lol no chance. He's set for life.

As for the people asking why Floyd is mentioned, he's really the only boxer that can be compared to, financially, right now. They make similar amounts of money, so what's the big deal?

It's a sign of ******ity when you say "Oh look Floyd mentioned again in a Pacquiao thread" as clearly you've automatically taken a route to big up Floyd, without actually noticing Floyd and Pacquiao can be compared or contrasted in many ways. In fact, it's you trying to bait a Pacquiao-Mayweather argument. Not noticing such is both hilarious, and saddening, seeing people stoop down to such a low level
