Cotto never really looked that emaciated when trying to make 147, despite the complaints about tough he found it. He certainly didn't look anywhere near as unhealthy as a lot of other guys you see struggle to shed the weight.

of course he wasn't drained at 147. the dude is tiny and has love handles at 154. despite what floyd fans say that's not his best weight division. he's a lazy dude and the stories of him partying it up and not training are almost certainly true.

Incidentally, has anyone got any good interviews with Pedro Diaz they can share? Either in print or on video? Very interesting guy and his contributions to the 24/7-Fight Camp shows are always very good.

If that's the case might as well move on now so you can't use Diaz as an excuse next L

Trout beats Canelo in much easier fashion...

Cotto's skillset is still superior to anything Canelos shown in his career so far... Canelo would have to look a lot different than he has his entire career to make me believe he beats cotto or trout

one thing i hate more than a fighter that can't accept defeat is when they blame that defeat on their trainers. cotto doesn't realize he himself is the problem

I wanna see him work with Floyd Mayweather Sr. Seriously.
Remember when Oscar collaborated with Sr for the Mayorga fight, he introduced the right cross into his arsenal and picked up the philly shell along the way.
Miguel's used a quasi-philly shell almost his entire career, I'll bet Roger can finesse it and turn him into a two handed fighter. Ariza could be his strength and conditioning coach since Phil Landman is m.i.a. How nuts would that be lol. Epic 24/7's, I can just imagine the advice he'd give to Miguel in the corner LOL

Diaz is a good coach and imo Cotto should keep him but after 2 L I doubt Cotto will pay ang attention to him or even get motivated so he is probably betger of listening to a new voice.
