That was nothing but a rumor dude. Ghost is not asking for 4M. Keep up!Snap
I called this the other day when I read the Schaffer interview. Floyd is keeping GBP at distance, he doesnt like being forced Canelo and he's unhappy at the Ghost wanting 4m. He's used to getting everything his way and he's not getting it all his way
I really am not interested in Alexander. For the extra 1.5M I think Floyd would get more PPV money from mexican & casual fans...I think some of the hardcore arent that impressed with Alexander and won't be buying it like they normally do. I think whilst he might be trying to save 1.5M, he will probably lose more from this poor card especially if Canelo isn't on board.
I thought he was Floyd MONEY Mayweather? All about the money? Seems like it might not all be about money after all.Comment

"Contrary to some of the rumors floating around, numerous sources with knowledge of the details have told BoxingScene that there are no financial demands on the part of Guerrero which are stalling the match from being finalized. I've been told the monetary terms on Guerrero's side have never been an issue in making the Mayweather fight."
The boxing world is on fire after Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced on his personal Twitter page that he was close to finalizing his May 4th opponent, and named IBF welterweight king Devon Alexander as the frontronner. "The negotiations for my fight are almost done. The front runner is IBF Champion Devon Alexander. It'd be a unification bout at welterweight," he posted on his official Facebook and Twitter pages.
I would assume that these "sources" come from team Guerrero.Last edited by jso416; 02-10-2013, 12:20 PM.Comment
