Thanks man. Dan is one of those posters that doesn't care about being consistent at all.

I had Kiko up by 1 or 2.

Does anyone know if Kilo has a rematch clause? I think he's very capable of beating Frampton. He just needs to pace himself better. I think his lost some of his movement due to his workrate in the early rounds. So he got tired/lazy and started coming in straight. But not taking anything away from Frampton tho, he can hit. That probably took a toll on Kilo as well.

Good win for Frampton and props to both guys for taking this fight, good for the division.

Martinez is well known for gassing late, I guess all that running made his legs turn to jelly when Frampton landed that right.

I doubt it was the running. That was a perfect shot. Coming forward with momentum then stopped on his tracks.

Can't believe what I've read in this thread. I thought Frampton was pretty much in control for most of it. Far more accurate, fought very well on the back foot. His defence needs some work but he was never in trouble tonight. Alot of Kiko's work was just aimless pressure, he looked pretty sloppy to be honest.

However it just goes to show how subjective scoring a fight is. We moan about dodgy decisions, s h i t punditry etc etc, but we all read fights very differently.

Frampton was becoming more accurate in the later rounds but Kiko was making him looking silly for the first half of the fight pretty much.

Very good fight, close one aswell i thought. I could see a case for it being 4 rounds each after 8.
Great KO from Frampton..Martinez took the fight to him like no-one has before and he will learn alot form that fight.

In Munroe and Martinez, Quigg and Frampton have passed their biggest tests to date..the build up to that fight is getting bigger and bigger

Great assessment. Both men seem to want the fight and I'm sure their respective promotional teams can put aside differences to make it happen but the fight can be allowed to brew a bit longer. In a couple fights time I see both guys going in for vacant or interim title belts. Then the two can fight each other if no world "champion is available".

Quigg already has an interim strap
