    Trinidad not fighting Winky next!

Here is the story (in Spanish): linky

Trinidad (father and son) and Don King anounced to the Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Dia that Winky is out because, after asking for 4 million dollars and King accepting to pay that amount, he now doesn't want to fight and failed to give a reason why. The Trinidads even agreed to lower their purse to $9 Million in order to make the fight but Winky still chose not to accept.

There are several others who are being considered including champs at 168 (Calzaghe and Lacy), Sturm, Massoe, Quartey (who already has a fight scheduled), and others whom King doesn't want to mention so that other promoters/lawyers don't price their fighters out of a fight before even begining negotiations.

I hope they find someone soon. King has April 9th separated with HBO for Tito's return and the fight might take place in Puerto Rico.

Let Felix Trinidad fights against Bernard Hopkins if the money is right. Or else he should try to face Felix Sturm, this guy is not an easy one. Ask Oscar de la Hoya about it. It could be an interesting match.

As long as he is at MSG....he could fight Paul Reubens and I would still go see Tito-mania.

If both Trinidad and Hopkins are successful on their next fight, they should have a rematch in Q4 this year. But Winky may face Trinidad after Trinidad's next fight. What's up with Winky?

Which weight category were they suppose to fight under? Winky going up or Trinidad coming down in weight? Sorry, but I have been out of the boxing scene for a few months due to work abroad. Thanks in advance for those who answer my question.

They were supposed to fight at 160 but I guess Winky was all talk. I hope he gets his ass whipped by the winner of Jantuah/Ouma.

Winky is a total idiot, he will probably make a quarter mil fighting mandatories, 4 million is a good chunk of change, he really missed the boat, im pissed cause i dont want to see tito fight a bum or a lesser fighter, sturm will run all day, that would suck
