John has fought in the US in the past. In fact, he called out Marquez for a match in SIngapore. Filipinos with passports can travel to Macau and its close to the Phil's. Bob Arum has thought about DUBAI or Macau in the past due to the lower tax burden.

John has fought in Australia as well as Japan, and another couple of places I can't recall. He fought Rocky Juarez in Las Vegas I think, in the States anyway.

His minimum fee per fight used to be $500,000 with an extra $200,000 for fighting abroad. Since he's near his career end, he'd probably like to make a couple of millons. And, contrary to what Marquez says, he is a very good fighter.
