Cotto Seems a genuine guy to me. Never tries to be something he isn't. He comes across as a family man who needs u to earn his trust before he opens up and a man who enjoys some privacy, nothing wrong with that, he's a Fighter not a contestant on Big Brother!

People dont like him because they want everyone to be like Tito, smiling all the time. Anyone that knows him from the days he was in school they will tell you that he has been the same person always.

I remember people whining about him not giving autograph or taking picture. The guy wants to have his private life and not be bother. He loves PR and he is proud of representing us. We are a bunch of hypocrites. Sometimes we want him to fail, but we will celebrate all his W. Estamos jodidos como sociedad.

People hate on you because you aren't "nice" to them and you are "supposed" to be. **** that not everyone is Tito, if people hate who cares you can be an *******/keep to yourself if you want. I'm the same way I guess I obviously have friends but it's not like I'm out looking for more. My family is most important to me like Cotto, that being said he is in a different position in life than me. If you act like that as a "star" then it gets taken to a different level. I lost a lot of respect for Cotto after the Trout fight.

Actually... maybe in the Floyd fight, he left without an interview and it bothered me but not too much because I thought the cards were too wide as well. I just have a hard time believing that Cotto did worse than Oscar who did worse against Floyd than Cotto. Oscar got points for just throwing punches Cotto didn't even get any for actually hitting him. Anyway, when he left after the Trout fight it was just poor sportsmanship which was always his "thing." Agree there are a bunch of hypocrites over here! When Cotto wins everyone is jumping on his **** and praising him, but when he comes up short they start saying "Esa mierda! Que se retire ya!" Which basicly means that he sucks and should hang em up. And this goes for any sport.

And yes Arroyo is the most arrogant of them all. Personally I like the guy and is my all time favorite Puerto Rican baller, but he is a prick.

I people in PR expect him to be like Tito and be overly friendly and be about the PR not himself or his family, the fact is Cotto is a simple, quiet and reserve family man, something that can be perceive as being arrogant especially when you are shy like Cotto seem to be.
