Thats not true, you had guys like Rios at 135, Dawson at 168 blowing up overnight and they were clearly drained. Agree on the rest mostly, Canelo would still gotten schooled at 154 but a CW is unbecoming of a lineal/unified title

Well doesn't that make you as ****** as them? Never understood the logic in doing that.
They could just be having fun with the outrageous hypocrisy of the flo mo herd, you know. I remember a 100 page thread by one of them on how CW=********* act.

Also theres the fact that Cotto ran for his life for 6 rounds +, which is hard to do drained. Canelo Otoh was even less dynamic than expected.

This comment... makes an obscene amount of sense. I had to take a couple of seconds to admire it lol.

Catchweights are unforgivable, but entire division drops are A-OK

What are people trying to say here? That because of the catchweight it isn't a good win? What's the logic?

no, they are trying to change their argument to "I said he wouldn't fight him at 154, I was right". typical garbage.

That's crap. Canelo was fine at that weight. Not every catchweight means a fighter is drained. Cotto wasn't drained against Pacquiao either and Hopkins wasn't drained against Pavlik.

So 152 was a compromise on Mayweather's part was it? Because Alvarez was so determined to work his way down to 150?

B-Hop defended the true middleweight crown against Oscar at 156? Right? When Oscar was doing good for the first 5 rounds I don't recall hearing anything about weights. Then when B-Hop mad him roll around on the canvas pounding it from a body shot, even though that was a very odd reaction to that punch I never hear weight being an issue in that happening either.
