People should stop making excuses for pacquiao. He got ktfo. Hes my idol too but you have to admit marquez has the style that gives pac problems everytime. I just dont think a rematch would be that different unless pac dramatically changes/ adapts his boxing technique, an aspect of the sweet science he is not well renowned for...so stop with the 'luckypunch' and 'he got careless' crap.
Hes not completely done but his skills n footwork appear to be declining. He could make sum $$$ beating down some flat footed brawlers and sluggers in some of the most entertaining bouts ever witnessed. those boxers who run all night dont deserve a shot at pac, weak n boring ass fighters.

excellent post ! ^ , JMM shouldn't fight floyd because he di him so dirty the first fight . the " Boy " did not even try and make the weight . they should not have been in the ring together . Boy step in the ring with a top notch middle weight and see how it feels ! Fraud is just a punk , not wanting to give the fans the best fights but make money at the least risk ...........................sad !
I want him to man up and fight Canelo !

That has to be maddening to lose HALF of your purse from a huge prizefight.

I think he should try fighting mayweather again, i think the ringrust is catchin up with floyd n he dont move like he used to. i think its worth an attempt considering he has gained some muscles mass and can rely more on his boxing ability with floyds shot legs restricting his mobility. I would still put my money on floyd but

He wants the adoration, money and fame that fighting on US soil gives you, but hates the idea of paying some of it back. LoL...I hate people like that.

Go be famous and fight in mexico then and earn next to nothing

Who the hell is he planning on fighting then?

Marquez pisses me off. He spent 8 years crying about losing three very close fights with Pacquiao - absurdly claiming he was robbed each time despite his as$ hitting the canvas four times and all bouts being plainly and obviously competitive - and as soon as he scores a win over Pacquiao, he neither wants to do Manny the favour of a return bout - despite Manny giving him THREE separate rematches and mega paydays when he was making chump change in other fights - and nor does he want to try to avenge a defeat to Mayweather.

Seems like he's staying on in boxing to get a couple of easy matches for big money. Not gonna happen. Fck off and retire already if you don't want a challenge.

i've lost some respect for JMM...he says he doesnt owe manny another fight, when he practically went around begging after their first, second, and third fight...he comes back with a new body(PED or not) and lands a couple impressive punches to get the "lucky" knockout...now he doesnt wanna go after redemption with the best of his era in mayweather...

who's out there for him to fight?...after what he did the last decade, he's definitely a future legend. but he only fight left is a rematch with mayweather...go ahead, take your drugs...if he can beat floyd, and in the process take out the two best fighters of our era..he will go down as an all time great

I have always liked JMM, but I definitely think there are some real truths in this post.

Marquez doesn't need that fight....beating Floyd is highly unlikely so whats the sense?!? .....he should retire...he's the KO King for 2012...so the reigning Ice Man can't do anything cooler than what he did in his last fight....he should chill on that win...it was brutalful!!
