Cotto handily. He could finally use his body punching again.

Anyone who believes Cotto has a "quitter attitude is either ****** or bias.(or both)

Smart money's on Cotto, UD. Odds wouldn't be lop sided though.
^^^This^^^I honestly believe Cotto has been at the end of his career since before Cheato vs Cotto 2.

When facing quality fighters, Maidana is little more than a punching bag. Cotto 119-110, if Cotto can make 147

Really surprised to see Phantom make a goofy thread like this. Power is almost equal and Cotto has ten times the technique. Really lopsided.

I hesitate to answer because I don't know how Cotto will be back at 147.

How bout Maidana comes up to 154?

Nah Maidana is smallish at 147, when in shape. At 154 he'd be fat, more fat than he was against Devon.

Cotto drains himself to 147, Maidana knocks him out.

I hate to admit it, but you might be right.

That would be a pretty good fight. They should make it in June in NYC when they have the PR parade and have Velez on the card if he beats De Leon. I got Maidana beating Cotto at 147. Miguel hasn't fought at that wait in years but I do like Cotto at 147. I felt like he had more power in his punches at that weight. Diaz made Cotto forget about his right hand which he needs to bring back to his game.
