    It wouldn't stop them just cut the probability. Still won't do anything about the pre-filled out Arum cards though so it's probably no use.

      Not a bad idea... like a sudden death round like UFC.
      Also it being one round will make it a do or die scenario.

        you think so? if you're in the 12th, then 3 minutes to a 13th round is a lot better than another 9 minutes to the 15th round

          Theyll never be more thn 12 rounds again.

          Why would fighters agree to it ?

          Would you work an extra 1/2 hr a day for the same money ?

          If one of the governing bodies made their title fights 13 rounds the top fighters would jut avoid them.

            it's not really whether about they'll agree to it, just wheether an odd number of rounds would be ore suitable than an even 12?

              Its really the same shiiiittt. Point deductions happen. Plus with 15 or 13 rounds it would either encourage early finishes or make people stall more to maintain their stamina
