Let's get one thing straight..Al Haymon is the boss of anyone doing business at GBP. Secondly didn't everyone on here state Ortiz deserved a shot because he beat Berto? I just laugh at how these things change now..fact is Suliman wants a mexican to fight Floyd..he's hoping to see another mexican upset this year (won't happen) but he's hoping for it..see how hard he's also pushing for a chavez vs martinez rematch? and a Mares vs Donaire fight?

while ortiz is now proven to not be so great, he was on a big run and looking great leading up to that fight, berto was ranked and undefeated plus a belt at 147. he knocked down like 12 or so previous opponents, berto was coming off a layoff and had already been exposed twice before guerrero got to him. it was a very impressive win but not like ortiz's win. plus floyd came off a yr and a half break to take on ortiz while he was not mentally ready he had the youth and power to hurt floyd had he caught him a couple times. we didnt know what ortiz really had til he went 4 rds with floyd and had that fight went on u never know what could of happned, then he had the delayed berto rematch and ended up getting rocked by lopez lol
