what with boxing and in particular, boxing match making back in the spotlight, what would be your ideal fight card for 2013, featuring active fighters only and taking into account the realities of the sport itself (TR and GBP problems, monetary issues, venues, availability of fighters etc.).
Here is mine, trying to keep it as real as possible.
With a lot of top names tied up for one reason or other in the first half of 2013, this would have to take place in the summer months of June/July.
Venue: Emirates Stadium, London
Main Event: Vitali Klitschko v David Haye
Undercard: Scott Quigg v Carl Frampton
Mathew Macklin v Darren Barker
Glenn Foot v Denton Vassell
Kal Yafai v (Unknown) just good to get the best prospect in the UK on a big card
I know there are a number of different promoters involved in this but over here, we don't have too many problems with co-promotion, the only snag being Warren's Boxnation but I'm sure, with an event like this being held on Sky BoxOffice, everyone would play ball if they got a cut of the PPV revenue.
