    Good God.
Soooooooooo, is there a better, more legit 154 champion than Trout right now?? If so can you name the fighter & the reason why he's a better champ??

That wasn't my point. My point is, the lack of talent in boxing today, makes us as fans, prop up these half way decent to good fighters.

Edit: No, I'm not one of those, "back in my day...." type boxing fans. It's just that, I can recognize if a dude's legit, or is just a product of beating a past prime, name opponent.

true but what does that have to do with Trout being too dangerous of an opponent for Floyd?

So again, looking past Floyd, who's more deserving of a 154lb title than Trout??

Al Haymon doesn't really put his own guys against each other but since he's ummm & doesn't get in the media, he doesn't catch much heat like Arum.

So again, my point went way over your head. No one said, he doesn't deserve to fight Floyd. I said, he's not some elite killer at 154. I guess beating an old ass Cotto makes you the new king at 154, huh? He hasn't done ****, besides beat up a small/chubby/war torn/past prime Cotto.

He's just lucky to have gotten the shot against Cotto. Lara coud've done the same thing against Cotto, and probably stop him. Same goes for Canelo.

                  Put it into perspective.

I understand that. Now can you name another more deserved 154lb champ & the reason why though??
