That was when Floyd came back after a "vacation/retirement" and the idea that he was going to fight Pac kept people interested. That ship has sailed now unfortunately for him.

He maybe a great boxer but he actually seems like kind of a dimwit.

Off the back of Mexican fans on a Mexican holiday weekend, yeah. It was an intelligent move on Floyd's part.

However, Guerrero doesn't have anywhere near the amount of support that a guy like Marquez does. I don't think a Mayweather/Guerrero PPV will be a stunning success. However, I don't think it'll be an abysmal failure, either.
too add, clouds entire reason for avoiding particular fighters was "nobody knows him. he needs to get his ppvs up"

how many ppvs has Guerrero headlined again?

If these are tactics to sell his fight, then Floyd will be remembered as a scam artist and not a great fighter who took real challenges.

Such a shame, as he is a great fighter.

This theory is weak. Mayweather vs TBA does 1 Mil. Doesn't matter who it is.

Is called being smart and making people want to watch even if they dont want to. Floyd will end up fighting Guerrero and thanks to this he will get a pass and sell millions on PPV.

We all know there something about this and its not Floyd behind it, its Al Haymon! I can agree with you that "Floyd is the Smartest Man in The Ring" but Calling Floyd Is the Smartest Man On the Planet makes You Dumbest Man On The Planet! lol

It's a publicity move, lmao at people acting like this is some kind of little kid 'prank'. These are multi-million dollar productions with multi-million dollar payouts, these announcements are calculated strategies. You may *hate* the idea that he *may* be fighting Alexander, but the fact that you're even talking about it was the whole point of the announcement.
