I'm a Donaire fan, but this sucks. I don't care if Rigo is to blame for the fight not happening, that would suck.
Who should he fight (Donaire)??? The only realistic option I could come up with is Terrazas and I'm not to sure Terrazas would want to pass up a shot at the title against Mijares to fight Donaire unless the purse was substantial

I still think Rigondeaux is going to happen, and this will all get settled.

I don't know the rankings at 122, but I'd take anyone top ten for any of his belts over a Darchinyan rematch. That is ridiculously pointless.

If they don't want to fight Mares, and Rigondeaux's "situation" with Caribe isn't figured out....than he should go to 126.

Donaire is not ready for 126 i think. He has looked shaky at 122.

Maybe a fight with Chris John would be possible though?

Doubt mr Bob want to pit Garcia and Donaire against each other.

At least Donaire fights four times a year, this could just be a stay busy while he works on something better, floyd fights once a year, if that, we've waited how long for floyd to fight? The best he could do was Devon? And we are expected to pay for this?

If Rigondeaux isn't figured out and they don't want to fight Mares, and I'm surprised at how everyone's just going with the "Oh it's TR/GBP, won't happen" excuse, there's still better fights than a Darchinyan rematch.

Terrazas or Frampton at 122 would be better fights, or one of the other top 10 fighters there. Or someone like Dib, Fortuna, Walters, or Caballero as his first fight at 126.

                  Hope so.....

The WBC and IBF straps are up for grabs in vacant title fights coming up Mijares-Terrazas and Lopez-Romero..... There is only two straps left and Donaire holds one of them

Plus I don't think the young guns are ready yet Frampton/Quigg

With that said I still don't want to see Donaire-Vic II if the Rigo fight falls apart

I can't imagine Rigondeaux being so ****** as to turn this down, not after all the trash talk to get the fight.

Its not like that just came out of nowhere..... Everyone knew it was a stretch when Donaire-Mares was brought up but ppl like myself had hope otherwise
